AI for Common Good: Paper Reading Group

On February 21st will be the first gathering of our workshop series on tangible and explainable AI for the common-good, conducted as part of the Go-KI project (go-ki.org). Go-KI, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), aims to provide a methods, software frameworks and tools as well as an open innovation laboratory for the development and implementation of AI applications aimed at the common good.

Our first meetup  will start with a brief introduction of the Go-KI project and ZEKI (Center for Tangible AI and Digitalization | ze-ki.de), which serves as a real laboratory environment for the project. In the main part of the workshop we will present and discuss different research articles. For our first meetup we selected "AI Transparency in the Age of LLMs: A Human-Centered Research Roadmap" by Vera Liao and Jennifer Wortman Vaughan (https://arxiv.org/pdf/2306.01941.pdf).

Time and place: 21.02.2024, 17:30 – ca. 19:30 at ZEKI, Ernst-Reuter-Platz 2, 10587 Berlin (please ring the bell). Participation is open to all and free of charge. If you are interested, please contact .

Alternatively: Zoom-Link for Remote Participation (The Meeting will be recorded.)
